At the 13th High-tech Lithium Battery Industry Summit recently, GGII shared the analysis report of "Analysis of the New Round of Capacity Expansion for Lithium Battery Equipment", which comprehensively analyzed the market demand, output value scale, innovation path, cooperation direction, etc, on lithium battery equipment market.
The report pointed out that in 2022, the global production of new energy vehicles is expected to exceed 5.2 million, of which the Chinese market accounted for more than 50%. By then, China's lithium battery market will exceed 260GWh, of which the power battery will exceed 190GWh, and shipments will be mainly concentrated in top10 companies.
At present, the localization rate of domestic lithium battery equipment has reached 90%-92%. Driven by new production capacity, by 2022, the market share of domestic lithium battery equipment will reach 18-19 billion yuan.
According to the survey feedback, the leading equipment companies are further widening the gap with second-tier equipment companies by improving the yield rate, innovating processes, reducing operating costs, researching and developing integrated equipment, and providing semi-complete/complete lines.
Specifically, improving equipment stability and reducing the loss rate is an important way for head equipment companies to improve the yield rate. By improving the technical content of equipment and production efficiency, we continue to research and develop, establish standardized and flexible modules, shorten the research and development cycle, and become its core path to reduce costs.
It is worth noting that the amount of investment in unit production capacity has been greatly reduced, and internationalization, intelligence, integration, and full-line delivery are the key directions for the future development of the lithium battery manufacturing market.
