EQ-PSC Pressure Controlled SplitTestCellfor Solid-state Battery
EQ-PSC is a split test cell for coinsolid state batteries, equippedwith aNylonsleeve or PEEK sleeve. The split cell can be placed in a lab press and applied pressure up to 20 MPa, which is designed for researching the effect of pressure on solid-state battery performance. It can also be used for easy coin cell assembling without any screw and crimping tool. It can be customized into various sizes (8, 10, 12, 15, 20, and 25 mm diameter) to accept all sizes of electrodes and separators. (Please choose the size and material from Product Options)

Structure & Material |
1. Pushing rods (top and bottom) are made of stainless steel. Copper made pushing rods are available at an extra cost. (Gold plating is available upon request at an extra cost) 2. Sleeve Material: Nylon or PEEK is selectable at the product option. 3. Poly Ether Ether Ketone (PEEK) is a semicrystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained to high temperatures. |
Instruction How to Use |
1. Simply put electrode, separator, and electrolyte materials into the die with no screws required 2. Place the die into a compact lab press to apply pressure without crimping (click pics 1-2 to order lab press) 3. Connect the current leads from pushing rods to a battery analyzer for testing 4. You may use a thickness fixture (Pic 3 ) to measure the expansion of assembled battery during charging & discharging 5. You may use a digital pressure to apply pressure (pressure controlled coin cell crimper) |
