Lithium difluorooxalate borate is a white powder or crystal powder, similar to LiBOB. Li+ in LiODFB has a quintuple coordination structure, which easily combines with other molecules to form a regular octahedral coordination structure, and can absorb moisture in air to form LiODFB·H2O. Nowadays, the research of lithium-ion battery is hot, and the composition and properties of lithium salt of lithium-ion battery electrolyte also play an important role in the comprehensive electrochemical performance of lithium-ion battery. Difluoroxalate boric acid buried (LiODFB) has excellent high and low temperature properties, wide operating temperature limit and good thermal stability, and has become the most promising electrolyte salt to replace LiPF6.
