LiFSI has good solubility in common organic solvents and can be fully mixed with solvents and other components in the electrolyte to improve the uniformity and stability of the battery's electrolyte. LiFSI electrolyte has good compatibility with the two main components of SEI film, and only replaces some of its components at 160°C. LiFSI can make up for the deficiency of LiPF6 and is a better quality electrolyte solvable lithium salt.
